Recognizing that the Bible is the very Word of the Living God unto man, and understanding the priority of knowing and obeying its truths, ChurchToday makes it a commitment to point the body of Christ back to biblical truths, that we may become equipped to serve and do the work of the ministry.
Our Founder
Billy Cenea, born on August 27, 1984, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, is married to Nathalie Cenea, and together they have three children. Since 2010, he has been dedicated to full-time evangelistic work, partnering with American believers. In August 2015, amidst challenges and rejection, Billy officially launched ChurchToday in Haiti. His passion for restoring biblical purity to the Church began in 2011, with a focus on returning to the core tenets of the Christian faith, such as the Five Solas, sound preaching, true fellowship, and church discipline.
Throughout his ministry, Billy has led a variety of evangelistic initiatives, both within Haiti and internationally, supporting efforts such as medical, spiritual, and humanitarian outreach. His collaborations with local pastors and churches have impacted over 700 Haitian children and their families, with a focus on assisting orphanages and special needs children. Billy has also facilitated the legal adoption of Haitian orphans into Christian families in the U.S. However, in the course of his work, he encountered a troubling lack of solid biblical teaching in the churches he attended. This experience, marked by the rise of heretical doctrines and misinterpretations of Scripture, fueled his desire to establish ChurchToday, a ministry dedicated to addressing these critical issues and calling the Church back to faithful biblical teaching.
An urgent Call
In a time where everything is grey, the Church becomes man-centered, money-oriented, worldly attractive, entertainment seeking, shunning godliness and obedience… We need to urgently call her to reform and return to the Holy Scriptures, sound doctrine and love for Christ. Absolutely nothing is more important than this!
In accordance with the words of the Lord Jesus Christ, The church has been departing from her first love, holding unto the teachings of Balaam, departing from sound doctrine, tolerating false prophets, immorality and sin… lukewarmness and complacency are growing rampant. Therefore He, The Lord of the Church calls us to repent and reform, or else He has promised to come with Judgement. ‘He who has an ear, let him hear!’
Rev 2: 4-5, Rev 2: 14, Rev 2:15, Rev 2:16, Rev 2: 20, Rev 3:1-3, Rev 3: 15-17, Rev 3:18.
Christ Jesus said in his own words: ‘‘ I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it”.(Matt 16:18). He is the supreme Head of the church. The great shepherd of the sheep – who demands purity and holiness among His people.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. (Rev 3: 20-22)
“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches”.
